We as a team strive to provide a service to the State of South Carolina by being a resource - a presence, that anyone living here who has any question, problem, or inquiry regarding Ubuntu or any other Linux question can come to for help and advice. We want to be more than a regular Special Interest Group

Goals

• Distribute Ubuntu CD's and DVD's within the state

• Provide user support within the state

  • Who is Responsible? The Team as a whole

• Provide basic organization and business support within the state

• Provide Support to any educational institutions within the state

  • Who is Responsible? The Team as a whole

• Advocate Ubuntu and Free Open Source Software (FOSS) to all

  • Who is Responsible? The Team as a whole

• Reach out and support other Groups in the state such as the Upstate Carolina Linux Users Group and their Free Linux PC Project

• To be a public service that benefits the state of South Carolina

  • Web Team, Wiki Team, etc. -- we need to help promote this. This has already been started. We are already featured on SELF's web site. They have added a link to our forum (see the link that has been stickied).
