My work for Ubuntu

I'm mostly working on the [https://isotesting.stgraber.org Ubuntu ISO Testing Tracker], testing myself some ISOs when we are getting close to a new pre-release. As far as packaging is concerned I did some personal packaging for people/school who asked me to do so, for Ubuntu I currently have pastebinit that I maintain (I'm also the upstream) in Universe (It's on its way to Debian). I'm also packaging (gbtsco, pam_exec and miniracer) and hope to have them into Ubuntu by Gutsy. I also did two package update (non-Maintainer upload) for squid (main) and network-manager-vpnc (add some option in the GUI + backend).

Except packaging/coding I'm also installing Edubuntu in my father's secondary school as 2-3 small network trying to have them really integrated in the everyday life of the students and have them used by the teachers Smile :)

I also spend a lot of time helping people on both IRC and real life (if we can say so :)), helping people to switch from Windows to Linux, giving or writing talks for conference (mainly about Edubuntu).

BoF I contributed remotely (VOIP)

What do I do with computers except Ubuntu?

  • Server admin on some dedicated servers (mainly game servers)
  • Write some software using C# (More on Windows for school, but I'm also using Mono sometimes)
  • Working on some websites (PHP coder)
  • Doing a lot of more or less useful PERL scripts

And in real life ?

I'm 17 years old, using Linux for around 7 years. I'm a second year student at the CPLN in Neuchâtel, learning computers.
