Since I joined Revolution Linux in August 2008, I'm now working almost full-time on LTSP both on the development side and on the integration side. I'm also working a lot with education as most of my customers are from the education market.
I'm also maintaining iTalc that's very useful when used with LTSP.
After almost 3 years working on deployment of Ubuntu in education and on LTSP at Revolution Linux, I joined Canonical to focus on Ubuntu even more. I'm now working as a Foundations team member on installer issues, networking (mostly IPv6), containers (LXC, arkose) and storage (multipath, iscsi).
I'm also one of the two main Edubuntu contributors and an upstream developer of quite a few tools that we ship in Edubuntu (including LTSP).

My current goal is to try to teach packaging to some of my colleagues and friends with the hope of making them MOTUs soon.

== Edubuntu council application for re-election ==
Since May 2009 I'm a Edubuntu Council member, as we are reorganizing the project and want to get a strong Edubuntu Council, we are organizing elections to move the Edubuntu Council up to 5 members.

I'm applying for re-election as part of the council.
I'm mostly involved in Edubuntu by being an Ubuntu Core Developer, work with education all the time due to my work at Revolution Linux.
I also develop and maintain LTSP, LTSP-Cluster and iTalc in Ubuntu and give talks about them at conferences.

As part of my previous role in the EC, I've been working on a few documents including our strategy document, wiki re-organization, website. I contributed to the Release Notes and Release Announcement for Karmic Koala, coordinated the ISO testing for Edubuntu and gave an Ubuntu OpenWeek session.

I'd be pleased to be part of that council again as I think the Edubuntu community is at a point where there's huge potential of making the project grow and would definitely love to be part of that.

My work for Ubuntu

After almost 3 years working on deployment of Ubuntu in education and on LTSP at Revolution Linux, I joined Canonical to focus on Ubuntu even more. I'm now working as a Foundations team member on installer issues, networking (mostly IPv6), containers (LXC, arkose) and storage (multipath, iscsi). I'm also one of the two main Edubuntu contributors and an upstream developer of quite a few tools that we ship in Edubuntu (including LTSP).

Other than that I'm active in a few other teams as listed above.

What else ?

I'm 21 (in 2011, in case I forget to update the page :)), living since August 2008 in Sherbrooke, QC, CA. I used to live in Bevaix, NE, CH and did my studies there before moving for work to Canada.
