Beginners Team
I am a member of the Beginners Team. Being a member of this team has allowed me to enhance my Ubuntu education, whilst at the same time help others with their problems. It has also been a perfect opportunity to socialize with the community and get to know individuals better.
QA Team and documentation and all sorts of testing anyway
My first contributions to Ubuntu is testing in about June 2012. Thanks to the help of Nicholas Skaggs, Phill Whiteside, Janne Jokitalo and many others, I learnt how to do community testing.
I joined the testcase admins team in August 2012,in which I helped to create a Ubuntu Studio testcase (under work) and helped to maintain testcases.
I got also interested in Ubuntu Studio. I normally work for testing and documentation, helped test the amd64 builds (only me does it, others do i386) and helped a lot.I replaced astraljava (Janne Jokitalo) as QA contact person and release manager of Ubuntu Studio in late September 2012.
Objectives for 2012-2013
Continue to help beginners get on to Ubuntu by participating in the Ubuntu Beginners Team
Continue to chair QA meetings and also help to test ISOs and writing test cases.
Hopefully I can also help translating Ubuntu.
Continue to contribute to Ubuntu Studio
