Who I am

I'm Simos Xenitellis, member of the Ubuntu-gr (Greece) team and localisation contributor for the Greek language.

Active member of the Ubuntu-gr (Greece) community since 2006.
Actively contributing to bug reports, either general bug reports or related to internationalization.
Member of the GNOME Foundation
Team coordinator for the http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/el/ Greek GNOME localisation project. http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/el/ My team http://l10n.gnome.org/releases/gnome-2-26/ completed the localisation of GNOME 2.26 in order to make Ubuntu more accessible to users from Greece.
Moderator at the http://forum.ubuntu-gr.org forum.ubuntu-gr.org forum. The forum has reached 2900 members and is the official forum of the Ubuntu-Gr community.
In 2007 I reached about 7000 in karma (launchpad) thanks to https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/~simosx Ubuntu Answers.

Promoting more free and open-source software through the http://www.ubuntu-gr.org/ Ubuntu-gr community.
Getting more Ubuntu-gr members apply to become Ubuntu members (like I do here).
