Who is Ryan Schafer (rhosigma)

-I am currently employed as a Technical Support Rep for a large retail chain of over 3,500 stores. I troubleshoot store POS equipment (registers, scanners, receipt printers, etc) as well as their network, wireless equipment and software
-I am a "computer geek" at heart. Former MS Windows user who switched to Ubuntu during Gutsy, I have 3 PC's in my home all running versions of Ubuntu. I am married and have 4 children who have their own computer running Edubuntu (got to start them young). I am always at my computer (when I'm not working) just playing around and learning all I can through forums, blogs, IRC, etc.
This is a brief intro but I am in the process of putting together something a little better

-Distributing CD's in the Hampton Roads/Norfolk area of Virginia.

Membership Support

From [TravisNewman]- (For the record, I am a moderator on the Ubuntu Forums, co-lead on the Virginia LoCo Team, and an Ubuntu Member) rhosigma, as a regional representative for the VA LoCo, has been instrumental in getting the Virginia LoCo team back up and running after a long hiatus. Among many other things he has designed our logo and has shown skill with wiki editing. He is motivated to help and spread Ubuntu to the community, and I think he would be a great candidate for membership.
