| == About Me == Since installing Ubuntu I have become completely hooked. I never thought any OS would make me leave my beloved OS of 10 years, the mac OS. After installing Ubuntu on an old Toshiba that was lying around the office I instantly knew I was on to something. Over the next month I used my mac less and less and for the first time in my life I bought a PC. I now use Ubuntu full-time, except for at work, and I have never looked back. I find myself completely in amazement that I had not tried Linux sooner. So I have joined my Loco and have spent many hours trying to educate people on the beauty of Linux and Ubuntu. I keep saying to myself "If only people knew". In addition to my LoCo the other team that I am most active in at this time is the the Beginners Team. Between organizing events for my loco, mentoring new members in BT as well as my Loco, triaging bugs, answering questions on Launchpad and the forums and the work I do on the wiki, I do manage to find time to work on my goals. Joining MOTU and learning more about themes and participating more in the Ubuntu Artwork Team are my goals over the next year or two.<
> <
> |
