| I installed Ubuntu about two (3) months before Ibex came out. A friend of mine was messing around with Fedora and he really liked it. Like me he comes from a desktop publishing background. We both like the macintosh OS and do not enjoy using Windows. So his vote of confidence in Linux had me intrigued. Ubuntu goals
Work with my LoCo team as much as possible. Get the team APPROVED status and recognition in the newly created Hall Of Fame
Post regularly on my blog okiebuntu
Submit bug reports to Launchpad
Learn how to triage bugs and Triage as many bugs as I can
Start working on a set of icons
Work on some wallpapers
Read the forums and contribute in any way I can
Learn how to make themes
Get used to using the Terminal as much as possible
Learn to compile a kernel
Become an Ubuntu member
Ubuntu community contributions
