== About me  ==

I'm Amin Bandali (or just bandali) and I'm a Debian Developer and an Ubuntu Developer.  I'm an activist for user freedom by passion, and a software developer/engineer by profession.


== Contributions ==

I have worked on the maintenance of Ubuntu's Firefox packages as part of the [[https://launchpad.net/~mozillateam|~mozillateam]] and [[https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mozilla-security|~ubuntu-mozilla-security]] teams, in addition to other aspects of the Ubuntu Desktop as a member of [[https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-desktop|~ubuntu-desktop]].  I've also worked on other parts of Ubuntu, such as merges/syncs of packages from Debian and [[PlusOneMaintenanceTeam|+1 maintenance]] rotations.

Upstream of Ubuntu, as a Debian Developer I maintain Debian's opendht and jami/ring packages among others, and participate in several teams including gnome-team and emacsen-team.

Continue working on further improving Ubuntu and its derivatives, and help make them even more awesome.
