Bogdan Popa writes that Google has released Chrome 81 with several new improvements. He provides a quick scan of new NFC features, and notes 32 security vulnerabilities are also fixed. We are told Chrome 82 will be skipped, however Chrome 83 will ship slightly early in May, with this including Chromium-based browser developers doing the same.
Ubuntu 20.04 Makes It Easy to Enable Fractional Scaling (But You Won’t Want To)
Joey Sneddon declares that Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is easier to enable fractional scaling because of the new system setting option. Providing a screen-capture of the new setting window, we are given a preview of how to use it, with a note that it's turned off by default as is still classed as experimental. Joey gives us his thoughts on the feature.
