KDE Plasma 5.18 Bringing Better GTK/GNOME App Integration

Scott Bouvier relates the availability of Ubuntu 20.04 daily builds for testing! "Now ‘Current’ images — these are images that have passed a series of automated tests — are available..... Canonical Teases Big Ubuntu Announcement with Leading Global Automation Company
Marius Nestor updates us on Canonical's announcement that they will attend the upcoming Smart Product Solutions 2019 event in Nuremberg. Canonical will promote Ubuntu Core OS designed for IoT devices supporting Mittelstand innovators in their presentations. Also teased was an announcement of a partnership with a leading global automation company that will likely be made during SPS 2019.
Nvidia Outs New Linux/BSD Graphics Driver with GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER Support
Marius Nestor tells us Nvidia has released new long-lived proprietary graphics drivers for GNU/Linux, BSD and Solaris 64-bit OSes, supporting the new GPUs and includes many bug fixes. Mainly, the Nvidia 440.36 driver adds support for GTX 1650 SUPER graphics card, offering full performance. Details and links are provided.
KDE's Plasma Mobile Now Supports Phone Calls on the PinePhone Linux Smartphone
Marius Nestor updates us on progress made on PINE64's PinePhone support in running KDE Plasma Mobile which now includes making calls using the UI. With still more work to be done on the audio, other improvements have been made in Plasma Mobile which runs via PinePhone's postmarketOS.
