Plasma 5.16.90 (Plasma 5.17 Beta) Available for Testing

The Kubuntu developers announce the Beta release of Plasma 5.16.90 in the Beta PPA for Kubuntu 19.04 and 19.10. Testers are wanted to ensure the quality and links are given for procedures and feedback. One caveat is to revert the PPA if you upgrade Disco to Eoan when it is released.

Meet the 9 Winners in the Ubuntu 19.10 Wallpaper Competition

Joey Sneddon tells us the nine winners of the Ubuntu 19.10 Wallpaper Competition have been selected and can be seen. Noting there is less diversity as he sees it in the winners compared to prior years, it includes the first Ubuntu branded wallpaper for years. With smaller images on display, a 5MB link is available to download them all. Joey does express disappointment that some great images didn't make it.
