Plasma 5.12.5 bugfix update for Kubuntu 18.04 LTS – Testing help required
The Kubuntu team tell us that the Plasma 5.12.5 LTS bugfix release is available in the updates PPA in order to be included in the 18.04.1 point release due late July. To help get it ready for general use, the team asks for help in testing by users of Kubuntu 18.04.

UBports To Work On Unity 8 / Mir / Wayland After OTA-4

The UBports latest work includes getting QtWebEngine working on Mir and fixing Chromium crashes as they work towards the UBports OTA-4 (Xenial) update expected late June.

XWayland Gets Patches For Better EGLStreams Handling
Michael Larabel reminds us of limitations with the X.Org Server 1.20 that are changing with a new patch series. He details that Olivier Fourdan of Red Hat has submitted five patches to fix EGLStreams support. Michael adds the hope that these patches will make the X.Org Server 1.20.1 release.
