Nicholas Skaggs: Prepping for a Summer of Code!
Nicholas Skaggs explains Ubuntu has applied to participate in Google Summer of Code, a summer program uniting university students and open source organizations to produce project ideas from the organization provided through mentoring. He invites mentors to sign up and provide ideas and offers resources for more information.
He continues that the GSOC takes place during May-August so if you’ve the skills & time, please consider putting your name forward (to mentor) Project ideas may be submitted by Feb 19, and friends may assist in the mentoring to reduce workload.
