Mourning the loss of Debian founder Ian Murdock
Ubuntu is based on Debian, which was founded in August of 1993 by Ian Murdock. Ian passed away on Monday, December 28th at the age of 42. The loss has been felt throughout our community and beyond. The UbuCon Summit is coming up on January 21-22 in Pasadena, California.
