The Ubuntu-mx is a group of persons interested in promoting, support and collaborate with Ubuntu in México.
Our vision is to show the potential of the distro and make it a suitable option for schools, universities, workcenters and household usage. We also want to show that no one is alone by using Free Software, for one there are many in Ubuntu-mx willing to help and offer assistance.

The group is governed by the [[https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mx-council|ubuntu-mx council]] (conformed by 4 ubuntu-mx members) which manage the more important resources which gives to the local team it's identity, forum, website, lp project, etc. Most of the decisions are taken in group by votes in one of our two monthly [[https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuMxTeam/Meetings/Agenda|meetings]].
