Improve the Ubuntu installer to incorporate a graphical UI, OEM features and other enhancements

Requirements

  • OEM-friendly installation mode
    • Delay configuration of initial user, time zone, ...?
  • Graphical UI for d-i
  • "Make room for Ubuntu" automatic partitioning mode
  • Hide stage 2 dpkg/aptitude messages behind a progress indicator
  • Clearly identify pre-release builds
