Differences between revisions 95 and 96

Here we have a sampling of bugs to work on for Hug Day. After you have triaged or fixed a bug put your name in the last column and set the row background to a green color by adding lightgreen in the first cell of the column after "background-color:" and before ";". This will let people know that the bug in that row has been worked on.

475 bugs without a package

These bugs have been reported about Ubuntu in general but do not have a software package associated with them, subsequently they are unlikely to be looked at by a developer. We can help easily help these bug reports through the process by assigning a package to them. Even better would be to follow up with the reporter if necessary. To mark it off the list you should:

At a minimum assign the bug to a package so it has a better change of getting attention or
Assign a package and ask a question and set the bug's status to Incomplete or
If the bug is not a bug but a support request direct the reporter to the support tracker or
If it is a bug about something needing to be packaged tag the bug as 'needs-packaging' prepend '[needs-packaging]' to the summary and set the status to Confirmed and importance to Wishlist
