Priority policy
This is an ordered list: lower numbers in the list have a higher priority.
The rationale for each category can also be found on this page.
Templates included only on the Live-CD (bootloader , installer) > 1000
- Ubuntu-specific templates 900 - 999
- Templates changed in Ubuntu 800 - 899
- Templates with a high user visiblity (like firefox, nautilus, empathy, dolphin) 700 - 799
- Ubuntu-docs Kbuntu-docs Xbuntu-docs Edubuntu-docs .. other docs 600 - 699
- All other library templates 500 -599
- All other GUI templates 400 - 499
All other text mode apps templates < 399
LiveCD templates
Rationale: They have a shorter deadline and also are one of the first apps an user get in contact with.

Translations in Rosetta but not included in language packs
There are a couple of exceptions for translations done using Rosetta but not included or updated via language pack.
Those translations are Ubuntu Documentation, Ubuntu Start Page and other tools only available on the Live CD or install media. Please see the following list:
