Fix validation tracking

Test the changes that were introduced after the archive freeze to verify the fixes work and that they don't break surrounding functionality. Ideally these should be tested by a person different from the person who fixed (and presumably tested) the bug and on a fresh install where applicable.

Post bug numbers for all the changes that were introduced since the archive froze for this milestone.
