Whereas the TennesseeTeam Team Leader has been in-absentia for several months, and whereas member applications to join the team are not being approved, and whereas existing member are being expired, and whereas the main team page is out of date, this wiki page has been created to document the issues and recommend solutions to the mentioned problems.

Team Leader Missing

Members of the team have been unable to contact the Team Leader MichaelBerger for the past several months. There has been no response by email or alternative methods. He was last seen in IRC four months ago, and the last member approval was August 15th, nearly two months ago.

Issues with Team Members

• Because the TennesseeTeam is a close team, with applications requiring the team leader approval, [https://edge.launchpad.net/~tennessee.team/+members 13 applications] are pending approval, since August 4th.

• No one is renewing the team members, and [https://edge.launchpad.net/~tennessee.team/+members 5 members] have been expired since September 18th. Team members are requesting action taken in the [http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=564434 forums].

Issue with Team Webpage

• The [https://launchpad.net/~tennessee.team/ team webpage] is out of date, with incorrect IRC channel listings and an email address that generates no responses. The page cannot be corrected except by the team leader and Launchpad administrators.

Recommendations

• Immediately appoint one or more team members as administrators of team to address expiring memberships and incorrect IRC channel information. I volunteer, if they accept [https://launchpad.net/~w4ett/ w4ett] who will be available and online this week, [https://launchpad.net/~slapoet/ slapoet] who wanted also to help get the team started, and [https://launchpad.net/~matthew-t-craig/ myself] although I will be on the road this week.
