{OK} [[BR]] I kinda had a knack for straightening out my friends broke microsh$ft pc's ;) -tho- with no schoolin` under my belt or paper hanging on my wall, I felt to go get some of that. I felt it more, soon after getting introduced to Linux, by way of Debian, then Ubuntu![[BR]] So, I'm in a tech school, "[http://www.mitchelltech.com/cf/Academics/Programs/cst.cfm Mitchell Technical Institute]", seeing the end of my 2yr course, of "Computer Systems Technology", and look toward getting cert`fied in "Ubuntu/Linux", and somehow ~ someway...chipping in...with FOSS & The Ubuntu community.[[BR]] I'm pretty much "blown away", by everyone's vast knowledge, in this and many other areas, so I'm feeling kinda small and looking for a place to fit in & do something to help out and/or just pitch in and have some laughs!! I have enjoyed brakin` crashin` & trying to fix my Ubuntu box! Practice & re-doing, is how I learn it! | Currently, i'm surfin` around ~ trying to get up to speed, on things. It's allot of stuff to read & look at, & absorb![[BR]] Tho- it'll save time...not doing again ~ whats been done & already sitting on a page! ;) ---- I don't do presentations.. its more often a "1 on 1", but- i'ld like to have a leaflet or something "Written" and "in their hands"...& as a "reminder". I haven't found anything like that ~ yet...so I'm making my own, and when i'm happy with it~ it'll be here, somewhere.[[BR]] == How I'll Do It == It will mostly be copy & pasted "allready approved & used" stuff. Ha. ;) I'm trying to get a handle on python, C++, & understand W3C, & for now, just read some fun things about Ruby. I've made web pages years ago, and really need & want to ~ 'upgrade' my knowledge, to todays, codes, scripts & tools. |
