I've been part of the free software community for 10+ years now. I started out on Slackware back in '95 or '96, then RedHat in '98 ( I think), Debian in 2000, and finally Ubuntu in 2005. Over the years, I've worked as a systems administrator, software developer or both.
I now work for Canonical on the Ubuntu ServerTeam as virtualisation specialist.

My other FOSS work
I've done some work on an open source Multimedia Messaging Service switching centre (MMSC) called [http://www.mbuni.org Mbuni].
I've contributed a few minor things to HAL, Ximian Evolution, Liferea RSS reader, mod_musicindex, the Debian kernel packages and few other things.
I've worked a bit on some file system related things in the kernel.
