This page does not include security updates, audits, investigations, etc. This page only includes information on proactive development work as it pertains to the Ubuntu Release schedule. Blueprints that the security team is committed to completing in a development cycle have an 'Essential' priority.

Planned changes for Beta
- Upload ufw 0.30 (final). What is in maverick (and Lucid for that matter) is a pre-release version of 0.30, and 0.30 final is a pure bug fix release fixing:
- LP: #568877: ERROR: 'Bad interface name' issuing ufw on valid, but non "ethx", interface names
- LP: #611982: IPv6 neighbor discovery is prevented by predefined "before" ruleset
- LP: #606997: ufw blocks ipsec

Planned changes for RC
Upload AppArmor 2.5.1. We currently have a pre-release of 2.5.1 in maverick now, and the fixes in final are required for the userspace tools to work properly with the maverick kernel
