Introduction

This new team aims to produce screencasts for integration with the Ubuntu Documentation. Screencasts are short video clips which demonstrate visually how to do a specific task (see the ["/FAQ"] for more information about our screencasts).

The Ubuntu Screencast Team is a part of the [:DocumentationTeam:Ubuntu Documentation Team], however we have our own [https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-screencasts mailing list] and IRC channel (#ubuntu-screencasts).

Projects

• The screencasts which have already been published can be found at [http://screencasts.ubuntu.com/ the Ubuntu screencast website].

• A list of new projects can be found at ["/Requests"] - browse through current requests and submit your own on that page.

• The methodology used for making screencasts is documented at ["/RecordingScreencasts"]

• The subtitle creation process is documented at ["ScreenCasts/Subtitles"]

Meetings
