I am an IT professional, educator, and author dedicated to bridging the digital divide within the Shan community in Myanmar. With a strong commitment to open-source software and linguistic technology, I focus on software localization, the development of digital educational resources, and empowering my community through technical training.
Core Accomplishments & Leadership
* Community Leadership: Founded the Ubuntu Shan Local Community (LoCo) Team to promote open-source technology within Shan State, Myanmar.
* Education & Advocacy: Actively conducted "Ubuntu Hour" workshops and community outreach programs throughout Shan State to increase digital literacy.
* Technical Writing & Localization: Authored essential technical documentation in the Shan language, including "The Perfect Desktop - Ubuntu 12.04" and the "Ubuntu Beginner Guide."
* Localization Specialist: Initiated and led the Shan Localization Team, dedicated to making free and open-source software accessible to native Shan speakers by standardizing technical terminology in the local language.

By creating localized digital tools and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, I aim to provide the Shan community with the resources necessary to thrive in the global IT landscape. Regular Class for Ubuntu
I planned to open regular class for ubuntu at SIIT, Shan Institute of Information Technology in Mandalay, Myanmar. We founded SIIT at November 2010 and it is the first and the large Computer Association for Shan people who live in around the world. If my plan is ok I will extend that regular class to all regional branch of SIIT.

I am also doing the favour for who doesn't know the Ubuntu and hasn't discovered Ubuntu by giving the Ubuntu Live CDs.
