Por otra parte, aqui tengo un BLOG donde pienso ir documentando todo lo referente a mi experiencia con ubuntu. Asi como impulsar las iniciativas de proyectos.

En el mes de noviembre de 2005, sintiendo un gran agradecimiento por ubuntu como distro, procedía a de forma autónoma, registrar el dominio [http://www.ubuntu.org.ve/ ubuntu.org.ve] . Procedi a montar bajo drupal un pequeño sitio donde esperaba poder reunir a una humilde comunidad de usuarios que nos inter-relacionaramos con motivo a ubuntu como Sistema Operativo y al Software Libre.

Ahora bien, fue para ese momento que un grupo de amigos venezolanos, me contactaron para informarme que ellos ya habian registrado el VenezuelaTeam como una LoCo oficial (Lo que no era cierto, tan solo eran NO Aprobados)

A sabiendas de lo adelantado que estaban y que trabajaban en equipo y no solos como estaba yo, procedi a redireccionar ante su solicitud el nombre del dominio, fucionando de este manera, el trabajo que yo habia hecho, con el trabajo que ellos adelantaban habiendo brindado entonces el dominio ubuntu.org.ve.

Con el pasar del tiempo, ellos se desligaron de proyecto, motivo por el cual lo retome, y para el dia 13 de Junio de 2006, arranco nuevamente, como el Ave Fenix, resurgiendo de sus cenizas, UBUNTU-VE. con nueva imagen, en un humilde servidor, pero con todo el cariño del mundo, me sente a ver como incrementaban el numero de personas que se inscribirian entonces al nuevo site.

Asi llego mucha gente, 469 (Santiago), Nelo, EfrainValles, Danilo, Mathammer, cdiaz y cada vez se aunaron mas, CesarSevilla, NathalieColina, y paren de contar.

Todos me acompañaron hasta lograr en tan solo el primer año, que el CC de Ubuntu nos hicieran y nombraran como Comunidad Local Aprovada, eso fue el resultado de todos, el trabajo comunitario y el trabajo sin mezquindad.

Mis Especialidades

Soy Especialista/Consultor en Tecnologias de la Informacion (IT Consultor) y he implementado importantes servidores para produccion. He impulsado el uso de ubuntu como distro seleccionada para el gobierno Venezolano a raiz de la firma del decreto presidencial 3390, del uso y migracion al Software Libre en Venezuela.

Y fui el unico que entrego a tiempo el Plan Institucional de migracion al Software Libre, proponiendo y estableciendo como distro de escritorio el ubuntu (Hoary).

Me encargo de dar cumplimiento a las politicas de seguridad establecidas en las normativas ISO. y he desarrollado los portales de instituciones como:

Durante todo este tiempo, he podido incentivar el uso de ubuntu, como distribucion para el usuario final.

Que hago por Ubuntu:

  • Colaborar y participar activamente con los Teams de Venezuela y España.
  • Promociono el uso de ubuntu como mejor distribucion en Venezuela.
  • Distribuyo gratuitamente los disco compactos (CD) que recibo de las distro de ubuntu a todo el que lo requiera en Venezuela.
  • Doy clases de (cursos) de ubuntu en instituciones educativas.

In Nov/2005 felling glad for all that UBUNTU give me like the Best distro, I did began the [http://www.ubuntu.org.ve/ ubuntu.org.ve] Project. Then some frindes that look the great idea, join the project, Understanding that the did register the VenezuelaTeam like an official LoCo Team (Was not True, just was an No Approved Team), then iï donate the domain name to left they continue with the project, with my support of course.

With the passing of time, they dissociated themselves from the project, which is why the return, and for the day on June 13, 2006, it started again, like the phoenix, rise from its ashes, UBUNTU-VE. with new image, in a humble servant, but with all the affection of the world, I did take sit to look how we increase the number of people who inscribirian then the new site.

So many people came, 469 (Santiago), Nelo, EfrainValles, Danilo, Mathammer, cdiaz and growing further, CesarSevilla, NathalieColina, and stop counting.

All accompanied me to achieve in just the first year, the CC Ubuntu and we did appoint as Aprovada Local Community, it was the result of all, community work and work without pettiness.

What am I

I works like a idependient IT Consultor, that bring to gouvern and private bussines the chance to know and learn GNU/Linux working with ubuntu like distro.

In venezuela, the president did sign a decret (3390) that, Force to all Govern institutions to use Linux, then I'm trying that the most selected distro be, the Ubuntu.

I works too, like a consultor in security theme, I did degisgn some portal like:

What I do for Ubuntu?

  • Pomote the ubuntu like the best distro in Venezuela.
  • Works like a secondary FREE COST distributor of all the ubuntu disks.
  • Teach about the use of UBUNTU.
