About Me
Hi all! I'm Ravi Kumar, an Ubuntu user since 2010.
I discovered ubuntu in 2010. I am always happy to somehow contribute or help any open source project. So I joined the launchpad and started to help ubuntu. The ubuntu community helped me a lot when I was very new in the linux world! Seeing its large community and developers who provide their valuable time and hard work to develop ubuntu, I also wanted to jump in too!
I am still learning programming (c++ and python) so I am not (yet) able to fix bugs or do a patch. So I found my way contributing to Ubuntu with translations and helping those new uses via askubuntu.
Now many people are aware that there are alternatives for Microsoft's infamous operating system. As such I see a bright future for Ubuntu and linux! Ubuntu helped many old laptops and desktops in my school to have a new life. Not to mention its usefulness in our home! Ubuntu helped me a lot so Why not help Ubuntu?!
