About me

IconsPage/iconCircle.png

I am an Engineer in Real Time Computing. I've been using Linux on and off for about 6 years. My first attempt was in college with Redhat. Since then I've installed and used Mandrake, Suse, Debian and CentOS. As of recent, I've been using Ubuntu full time since Hardy (8.04.2)

Background

My computing experience started in 1997, at the time, only rich people can offered buying personal computer, you are lucky if you can find an organization like Youth Club, if not you have to wait until you reach the 3rd level of the secondary school: that means by the age of 17 (but now, things are much better as kids start learning computer from the age of 8 and even before if they are studying in private schools). I guess I was very lucky :). I studied Real Time Computing for 6 years to become an Engineer in Real Time Computing. Now, I own 2 laptops and one powerful Desktop ( bogomips = 6000.9) all equiped with ubuntu.
