My Relationship with Ubuntu
Discover
I met Ubuntu in October 2010 after 10.10 released. Discovered by accident as i was looking for a program. Piqued my interest as a different OS as something i had never seen and as a Linux OS. I had never test before any other Linux OS. I was clearly a windows only user until then. I had never read before about open source and free software until then... then when Ubuntu booted for first time on my PC. Outstanding . Stable - Fast(very fast) - no drivers - everything worked out of the box and immediately. I was quick ... dual-boot with windows.
Dealing with
Well , dealing with Ubuntu was fairly easy. I used gnome-2 (with 10.10) . When Unity came up (in 11.04) i didn't really liked it , until i discovered that was too easy . Easy to find anything with less clicks (of course you must know what you are looking for). I got used to working with this easy environment and i am doing my work easy now.
Future
I don't want to give big promises but i will use Ubuntu (as my mainly OS) and contribute with anyway i can to spread Ubuntu and make it better for everyone.
