About Me

I'm a student of Computer Applications. I tried out Fedora a few years back and liked it. I moved to Ubuntu a year after I bought my laptop (2008). I've started using Ubuntu from Hardy and I love it. Now, I have joined the Ubuntu Community to help spread the word and help new users.

Team Membership

Ubuntu Ubuntu Learning Team - I'm part of the Ubuntu Learning Team and I coordinate with the team and help create new material.
Ubuntu Bug Squad - I'm part of the Bug Squad and help triage bugs often.
Ubuntu Beginners Team - I'm member of the Beginners Team coordinate helping new members through IRC and and Forums.

  • Ubuntu Wiki Focus Group - With the help of the Beginners Team, I have been able to be active in the Wiki Focus Group in editing the Ubuntu Wiki.
    Ubuntu Launchpad Focus Group - Another Focus Group of the Beginners Team and here I help with Launchpad questions and the bugs too.

Ubuntu Working on a Bazaar Learning Module for the Learning Team.
Ubuntu Helping organise the first User Day.

  • Ubuntu Managed to rope in 2 volunteers from the Indian LoCo and 2 from the Beginners Team.
    Ubuntu After receiving requests from a few LoCo Teams, in the process of creating screencasts for using IRC with Pidgin and Webchat.

Ubuntu Bug Squad Contributions

Ubuntu Mentoring under C de-Avillez.
Ubuntu Fixed LP #351509 with lots of help from Mackenzie Morgan.
Ubuntu Working on touching at least a-bug-a-day with the Bug Squad.

Future Plan
