Jaunty Throw Down

  • The 9.04 release is shaping up to be the best Ubuntu release ever. The Rochester Loco and Syracuse Loco are coming together for this special event in a combined public event celebrating the release. We are having a public demonstration and explanation of Jaunty Jackalope followed by a pizza party and install fest afterwards.

More Detail:

  • The first half of the half will have presentation by the local Loco team about Ubuntu, 9.04, and open source software. Demo systems will be set up for people to check out the new OS and see some of the diverse application of the operating system. Details TBD. The second half people will break out there computers and get installing. Pizza and soda will be provided. There will be a $5 cover charge to stay for the install fest. Details TBD.
