So you have an idea and want to put some information up on the wiki but don't even know where to start? Then this page is for you. This page aims to be a guide for how to create and/or edit wiki pages on the MyanmarTeam in English ( you can explore Burmese Language @ Ubuntu Wiki Myanmar) so that all users are able to contribute and share no matter what level of knowledge of how to edit wiki the user has while maintaining some sense of order within the wiki.

What you need

Any user is able to edit any wiki page with the only exception being that you have to have a launchpad login. If you do not already have a launchpad account then you can go here to create a new account. You will need to log into the wiki using these credentials.

Creating the Wiki Page

The first thing you will need to do if you are looking to create a whole new page is to create it (if you're just wanting to edit an existing page proceed to the next step).

To create a new page you will need to:
