Hi,

I'm behind a 56K modem connection with no relief in sight. The only way I can get upgrades reasonably is to use the Post Office bandwidth. I've tried to upgrade a few things this way, but you've skillfully installed too many encumberances, designed to protect me from myself, to obstruct my efforts.

When will I be able to get upgrades by way of CD? I would love to burn CD's and play DVD's like I can with a Knoppix system on your distro, but it seems it will be a long time coming.

That said, congrats on simplifying the install. I'll probably recommend your distro to friends and relatives who are currently "grousing" about windoze.

And I was wondering ... it was a way the phrase was turned, I think. I am an over 50's caucasian engineer who has been using *nix variants since Unix was a new proprietary OS. What I can't figure out is if I should be "offended" by the way you use the term "cracker" in some of your documentation.

=)

Cheers! DT
