The marketing team is always looking for more people to help out. We have huge plans to bring the wonder of ubuntu to the world and the more people helping to do that the faster we can make progress.
Get to know the team

You can have a read through the [https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-marketing/ archives] to catch up on what has been discussed previously - but this isn't necessary as important points will be put into the wiki.

New Ideas
Marketing works best when we have a diverse approach, we need to spread the word in as many ways as possible. The further outside the box the idea is the better - strange things get noticed. If you have an idea then either make a wiki page describing it, or make a spec for it in [https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+addspec launchpad], or just send a [mailto:ubuntu-marketing@lists.ubuntu.com mail] to the list. Then go for it. Note: please use the mailing list for brainstorming now, not the wiki or launchpad till we've figured out ways to do this best.
