I work as an accountant in a big enterprise in Northern Italy, but I am responsible for IT-related matters too. We needed to upgrade our internal servers based on Windows NT in order to achieve better performances. Ubuntu was my choiche and now it manages e-mails, file storage and PDC, but we are planning to migrate [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAP_R/3 SAP R/3], our ERP program, to a Linux-based platform. With this solution we reduced noticeably our IT total cost of ownership and we achieved a better overall security and stability.

Development

I am involved in Ubuntu development. Being part of MOTU team, I work with several developers to provide our users solid, up-to-date and bug-free software. Packages I've worked on can be found here. My maint interests are QA-related. I provide support for both development releases (bugfix, merges, syncs) and stable releases (Stable Release Updates).
