Notes
1) I must use a proxy but have no possibility to tell the installer, so the network repositories time out (after about 4 mins).
2) External monitor works without pressing any button indicating that the external VGA port is activated all the time.
3) Resolution and Refresh rate are the same as for the panel which is suboptimal and my monitor also doesn't like it and has problems displaying everything.
4) Hibernating works but on resume USB and network don't come up anymore. Also in Windows the sleep light flashes while hibernating. This is useful because I can see when Hibernation is finished even when the lid is closed.
5) After resuming the Thinkpad hotkeys don't work anymore. Reloading ibm-acpi fixes it.
6) Works with the sl-modem driver.
7) Installing irda-utils makes it almost work.
8) DMA is not activated making the device close to useless for CD burning or DVD watching.
9) These keys don't work immediately after installing. After rebooting they work fine. Probably the ibm-acpi module is loaded before /etc/modprobe.d/ibm_acpi.modprobe is in place.
10) Does not log out user before shutting down resulting in data loss etc...
N/A means that the machine has no such hardware
HW means that the function is provided by hardware or BIOS (i.e. it works without any OS support)
