Currently testing: Dapper Drake Flight 4 (plus daily updates)

Current Issues

UPDATE: Fixed in kernel 2.6.15-16-386

When resuming from hibernate everything seems to work fine except USB devices.

(Bug report [https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/29834 #29834])

When trying to bring up the wireless interface card the card is unable to associate with the access point. dhclient is run and fail to retrieve an ip address.

The bug can be reproduced in Hoary, Breezy and Dapper Flight 4 + daily updates.

(Bug report [https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/ipw2100/+bug/30712 #30712])

UPDATE: I have not been able to reproduce this bug in Dapper Drake Flight 3 + 4.

Unplugging the AC power from the computer will make the computer freeze after about a minute. However, the opposite - going from battery to AC power - is no problem. The bug can be reproduced over and over again. Also, this is true for both Ubuntu Hoary and Breezy!

Noticeably, a test with the Linux distribution "Mandriva Limited 2005" showed that the problem does not exist in Mandriva Linux. The computer will not freeze when unplugged from AC power thereby isolating the problem to Debian/Ubuntu.

Note - I (Mike) don't see this at all. Bug duplicate (6108) updated.

Notes

* Only by manually enabling this.

** Turns off screen and when lid is opened the "lock screen" dialogue appears. I suppose the correct behavior would be for the computer to go to sleep or hibernate when lid is closed.
