| It seems that ASUS ACPI tools are not configured as in breezy because all the additional buttons don't work anymore. In Breezy they worked out of box. Biggest issue, IMHO, is the missing wpa support during and after install. Additional components are needed, wpa-supplicant, but it seems that it is not in main for dapper. Because it's a great security issue not to use WPA it should be included as a default. |

Current Issues
It seems that ASUS ACPI tools are not configured as in breezy because all the additional buttons don't work anymore. In Breezy they worked out of box.
Biggest issue, IMHO, is the missing wpa support during and after install. Additional components are needed, wpa-supplicant, but it seems that it is not in main for dapper. Because it's a great security issue not to use WPA it should be included as a default.

Notes
Everything needed for daily work works.BR 3D with ATI binary driverBR With MSR-Tools it's possible to lower Core Voltage.BR With a custom DSDT it's possible to alter the FAN on/off temp.BR So you get a whole day fanless notebook.
