The Restricted Driver Manager found and installed a driver for my ATI Mobility Radeon X1350, however it didn't work with Desktop Effects (ERROR: Missing XGL). Instead of installing the xserver-xgl package, which seemed to disable/break Direct Rendering, I used Envy (which breaks full upgrade compatibility) to get it working 100%. Although I do not recommend using Envy, it was the simplest fix in my case. |
