* It may be possible to setup mirrors, but I have no clue how to do this.  I simply used the LCD/CRT hotkey to get the video to switch to an external LCD.
[I have the same laptop and have been using mirroring + extended desktops since Breezy. Works a treat on Edgy and Feisty herd 3 and final. -DJM]

** Battery not detected on boot, but unplugging the AC adapter and waiting showed the battery.
