Very Very rarely. Image heavily disturbed (flickering) if framebuffer is enabled: kind of resolution is to switch to console CTRL-ALT-F1 and switch back to X ALT-F7 every time you have this issue. Another fix may be disable framebuffer: add vga=normal to boot options, but you will lose splash screen at boot. [https://launchpad.net/bugs/24270 #24270] 
No tv-out support with the ati xorg module [https://launchpad.net/bugs/37764 #37764] - Resolution not detected (1400x1050). Execute sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg and then set again the keymap in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

This hangup can be bypassed disabling the local APIC support in the kernel. You can do this editing /boot/grub/menu.lst: append the string nolapic at the end of kopt= and kopt_2_6= lines.
