All the information below are related to the experience I had installing kubuntu (netbook remox) 9.10 karmic koala.
I did not try other versions or flavours of ubuntu.<<BR>>
In general I would say that, after a bit of work, 95% of the hardware works fine.

== Video ==

The biggest issue with this laptop is that the poulsbo chipset used by the video 
card has, to date, no native linux driver.
A proprietary linux driver is available, but ubuntu 9.10 is not officially supported.
In order to get the driver to work in karmic, a little hack is needed. Full details
can be found in HardwareSupportComponentsVideoCardsPoulsbo.
