The European website has sections for all extensa notebooks. For Acer Extensa 2300 see http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/ex_3000.html as the 2300 and 3000 are basically the same machines. Please note they no longer supply an English version of the user manual.

I would like to help this team making Ubuntu 100% compatibile with this laptop, so if you find this review useful or need further tests contact me.

I have also added an attachment, a tar/gz of the appropriate wireless drivers to use with ndiswrapper for this model, but do not see it listed anywhere.
