About Me
I work at Canonical on the Unity API Team, where our duties range from kernel patches, to creating the in-app-purchase API for the phone, to participating in Snappy development.
Background
I've been using Ubuntu since Feisty, and had been a Debian user for several years before. My past life was that of a DoD roboticist, where we used Ubuntu exclusively. My time as an Ubuntu developer began with the Dell Sputnik project. I was looking for a new laptop when I saw that Dell was offering a discount on their XPS 13 in exchange for help getting Ubuntu stable on it. I took them up on that offer and ended up contributing a number of kernel patches that have since moved into mainline.
