At the April 2009 kernel team sprint in Lexington, it was decided that the Canonical Kernel Team will now hold bug days twice a month. Each member of the kernel team will be given pre-determined set of bugs to focus on. There will also be an additional "Community" section for anyone else intested in helping out. The goal is to start a consolidated effort to reduce the total number of open kernel bugs. At the April 2009 kernel team sprint in Lexington, it was decided that the Canonical Kernel Team will now hold bug days twice a month.
