I have been using Ubuntu since just before I started at De``Vry which is a little over 2 years ago and have been using it ever since. My desktop is a P4 2.8GHz 64bit with 2 gig of ram that is running Ubuntu Gutsy 64 bit like no ones business, and my laptop is a Toshiba with a Pentium Centrino 1.74GHz with 2 gig of ram running 32bit Ubuntu. Both computers are running better than they ever have with the "other OS".

I'm a 20 year old DeVry student. Currently I am taking classes for a bachelors degree in electronics engineering technology or EET for short. School keeps me busy most of the time and I cant wait until I graduate near the end of this year.

I have been heavily involved in the Boy Scouts since I was 12. I worked hard and by February 2003 I earned the rank of Eagle Scout. I have stayed active in my troop even after my 18th birthday and became an Assistant Scoutmaster.

I work at a call center in Tempe Arizona which is about a 60 mile round trip for me, so if you hear my complaining about the drive to work that's why. I do tech support that makes me happy that I have made the switch to Ubuntu.

I have lived in Phoenix Arizona for about the past 11 or 12 years. Lived in a couple of different places before. spent a year in Wisconsin, and 6 years in Alabama. The weather here is much better than eather place (you cant shovel sunshine hee hee).
