I'm living and working in Osaka, Japan and interested in localization of Ubuntu for the Japanese language.

  • I'm the team Contact of JapaneseTeam.

  • I started Ubuntu Japanese Team(http://www.ubuntulinux.jp or http://www.ubuntu-jp.org) by May 2005, and distributes Japanese localized Ubuntu with some members.

    • We distribute as follows:
    • Japanese localized Ubuntu Desktop CD ISO image.
    • Japanese localized Ubuntu VMware image.
    • Ubuntu Japanese deb packages.
  • I wrote Ubuntu related articles for Japanese magazines.

My vision for Ubuntu

I want to work for making Ubuntu major OS in Japan. For that purpose, I'll continue Japanese Team activity, commit for Ubuntu to better support for multibyte language(["BetterCJKSupportSpecification"]), and write articles for Japanese magazines.
