My Name is Jullian Gafar. I am currently living in Jakarta, Indonesia, and working as a system analyst and freelancing as a Web Developer, mostly with LAMP. Works full time in [http://www.santelecom.com san telematika], an Indonesian IT firm specializing in telecommunication industry.
My Setup
- Home gateway powered by Kubuntu 5.10, Pentium III/450, 384MB RAM, 80GB HD. Currently headless and accessed only by ssh.
- Home workstation powered double boot by Kubuntu 5.10, KDE desktop for my wife and XFCE4 desktop for me. Pentium 4/2.26, 512MB RAM, 20GB for Linux. The other dual boot is for Win2000 for games and Final Draft.
- Office Workstation of powered by Kubuntu 5.10, XFCE4 and Enlightenment Desktop, Athlonxp 1800+, 512MB RAM, 120GB HD.
Notebook powered dual boot by Kubuntu 5.10 and Win2000. NEC Versa E400, Pentium4M 1.8, 256MB RAM, 20GB HD. Windows is for games and Final Draft. Interestingly, PCMCIA wireless card (Linksys WPC54G) only works in Linux, because Windows driver is screwed. This laptop is pretty worn, the eth0 is dead because of lightning and replaced with BAFO USB ethernet and Linksys WiFI, CD/DVD drive dead, and battery dead. Other than that, it's cool
