About me:
I am James Saveker (a.k.a Jimbo / Jim / Jimmy), living in Birmingham, UK and using Ubuntu on the desktop. I'm a self confessed geek and a Free Software and GNU/Linux advocate. I research and develop on Free/Open Source Software whilst not at work.
Career Status:
I work as an Oracle PeopleSoft functional analyst. My day to day job entails directing processes throughout project life cycles. From business need, definition and configuration, co-ordinating change processes across the EMEA region right through to testing, migration and implementation.
Personal Hobbies:
- I am an avid private pilot.
- It is not uncommon for people to spot me on the Golf course on a weekend.
- Working with and being part of the FOSS movement!
